The Six-Month Curriculum

From First Words to Final Stage

The program follows the structured VIP Speech curriculum — a complete, sequenced path through the craft of public speaking, advancing month by month from the fundamentals of content to the finest points of delivery.

1

Month 1

Foundations & Content

Choosing a topic, structuring a speech, and crafting strong openings.

You learn how great speeches begin — how to choose material worth speaking about, give it a structure an audience can follow, and open in a way that earns attention from the first sentence.

2

Month 2

Building the Speech

Bridges, body, conclusions, and the art of storytelling.

The architecture of persuasion: connecting ideas with clean transitions, building a body that holds together, landing conclusions that stick, and using story as the engine of it all.

3

Month 3

Rhetoric That Moves People

Visual language, the rule of three, power phrases, and rhetorical devices.

The classical toolkit, made practical — the phrases, patterns, and devices that turn clear speaking into moving speaking.

4

Month 4

Delivery I — Presence & Body

Movement, gestures, eye contact, and facial expression.

What the audience sees: owning the stage, purposeful movement and gesture, and the eye contact and expression that create connection.

5

Month 5

Delivery II — The Voice

Volume, tonality, pacing, and vocal variety; impromptu speaking.

What the audience hears: command of volume, tone, and pace — plus impromptu speaking, the highest-pressure form of the craft and the specialty of your world-champion coach.

6

Month 6

Integration & Championship Prep

Full-speech construction, refinement, and competition coaching.

Everything comes together: constructing and refining complete speeches, and competition-grade coaching in the run-up to the capstone championship.

How It's Taught

Taught Live. Practiced Daily. Applied Weekly.

Each phase is taught live in the weekly masterclass, reinforced by daily practice in the VIP Speech app, and applied through assignment work — culminating in championship-ready speeches. Community Access members follow the same arc through the recorded-session library, at their own pace.

Throughout the season, The Art (and Science) of Public Speaking offers supplemental advanced reading for students who want to go deeper than the core curriculum.
